What is Spiritual Healing?
How does a healer's work differ from that of a medical doctor?
How does Bill use light to repair the body?
What is the difference between energy workers and light workers?
Healing is a process of transformation, integration, and opening. It entails making oneself available to a dimension of consciousness outside of one's present level of formative experience that will help transform them. It is an inner journey that facilitates conscious, emotional, spiritual, karmic, and physical recovery.
No. What is helpful, however, is an attitude of being receptive, open and available to the direction that one's higher consciousness will make known to them. And it is certainly true that a person can receive, through the power of their own prayer and intention, the necessary alignment to receive healing. The real advantage to requesting the assistance of a healing practitioner is that someone who is experienced in the healing process and the opening of the light bodies to Divine emanation can usually make this process more efficient and physically effective. For example, it is preferable and more efficient to learn to maneuver a whitewater raft with an expert instructor than trying to teach oneself how to negotiate the whitewater raft on one's own.
Generally, the following recommendations are advised: 1) to get as relaxing and complete a night's sleep as possible the day before the session; 2) eat sufficient amounts of food during the day, but try not to have eaten just before the session; 3) avoid alcohol, caffeine, sugar (especially artificial sweeteners) and any non-prescription drugs so that the body is in its most natural functional state;4) avoid emotionally and physically stressful situations as much as possible both before and after the session; 5) after the session, try to have as much rest and insulation from external stressors; 6) avoid sexual activity up to 12 hours after the session so that the integration of the healing session can be maintained within the internal pattern of the body, and; 7) try to establish your own inner spiritual alignment with activities such as prayer, meditation, yoga, or whatever form of spiritual activity helps to assist in centering your consciousness.
Bill does his work on fully clothed individuals in a standard room, referred to as the 'healing room' on an adjustable healing table, similar to a massage table. Prior to the beginning of the one-hour session, the client is asked to take off shoes and as much metal from their body as possible, and to remove all electronic devices such as watches, ipods, and cellular phones. These objects can interrupt the resonant field of the physical and magnetic "flow" of the healing session. Bill proceeds with his healing work in close proximity to the client's body and he will move around the table to reach the areas of the body that he needs to work on.
Yes. Some people who are highly receptive may however choose to have someone accompany them to drive them away from the session due to the shifts in consciousness that can occur immediately after the session. It is usually recommended that people receiving healing not need to fly immediately after a healing session, but to wait at least twelve hours due to the movement and accompanying stresses involved with airline transportation.
This depends on the individual. The timeframe varies from a couple of sessions to several years. Determining factors include the following:
Integration of healing is dictated and moderated by each person's higher soul nature. That is, one's soul nature directs how and when, and in what form the healing light gets integrated. But sometimes, for unknown reasons, the physical body does not always integrate the light that is being brought through into the physical form. This does not mean that the healing has failed. Rather, the healing has manifested in other areas of the person's individual light field or etheric grid. Over a period of time, as the higher light bodies dictate, the healing can be integrated into physical manifestation if this is deemed appropriate. The etheric grid will hold that light and when the physical body is ready the etheric body will try again.
Yes. However in some cases, depending on what the person is doing, healing can drastically affect the overall pattern of modalities that are being administered to the person receiving vital intervention. The power of Divine intermediation can occur under any and all circumstances, but if someone is using strong pharmaceutical medications, especially chemotherapy, this must be assessed with respect to the balance of the physiological shifts and "side-effects" of such agents in the overall healing strategy.
No. However, if someone is in a position of severe physical, psychic or emotional toxicity, sometimes they will go through patterns of release in the process of becoming re-sensitized. This can cause them to go through various kinds of de-stressing, release, catharsis or re-sensitization processes. This is not bad it is just the way the body recovers as it restructures, detoxifies, and restores its own normal function.
Usually, yes, they can work with another practitioner as long as the other practitioner can be sensitive to the vital shifts in the body that the healer's efforts of revitalization are creating, or, if the other practitioners are doing things that do not directly or primarily affect the vital energy systems of the body. For instance, while seeing Bill you can also see a homeopath, a naturopath, a massage therapist, or a structural therapist because they are not using physically invasive techniques.
If the person remains less conscious and moves into a place of non-alignment (i.e., reverts back to old, destructive patterns of behavior), then the healing benefits can be diminished but the alignment that has been done in a spiritual sense can never be taken away.
Yes. The power to heal is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in the Holy Scriptures.
The Divine authority to sanction the empowering grace for healing comes from the innate perfection of the soul and the sacredness of physical incarnation as stated by the Christ, "the Kingdom of Heaven is within you" (Luke 17:21). Because our physical bodies possess such sacred innate nature, the "blueprint" of perfection thus exists which then only needs to be awakened by the power of intention and the willingness to receive the gifts of healing by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Some dogmatists have said that the power to heal ceased to exist after the apostolic times, and that only Jesus and his direct disciples had the authority to heal by the power of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, nothing could be further from the truth, as it is written by the Apostle Paul in the First Epistle General to the Corinthians, Chapter 12:
"…it is God Who operates all things in all. But to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit…of healing in the same Spirit…and to another the discerning of spirits…"
Clearly here the Apostle Paul states this as an all-abiding truth, as gifts of the Spirit given to us "for by One Spirit we are all baptized (initiated or empowered) into One Body…and have been all made to come together in One Spirit." He makes no distinction of spiritual empowerment between the apostles who have been baptized and all of the rest of the faithful, who have also been similarly baptized, who are doing the works of the Spirit with equal divine authority.
